Monday May 16th 2022 I gave an online lecture to the Facebook ‘Informasia’ group, primarily Western academics with strong Japan links.
The lecture is an hour and covers 1860-1895 in some detail, then a quick overview of the rest of the life of Kanō shihan (1860-1938) and even a bit into the Occupation of Japan (1945-1952). Q&A runs another 30 minutes. All in English.
